Inspire Cross Country Terms & Conditions and Disclaimer

Before you book or ride at Inspire Cross Country, you MUST carefully read and agree to our terms and conditions. When you book you will be asked to tick that you have read and agree to these. By doing so, you are are agreeing to abide by these rules. 

 

An adult must 'sign' for any rider under 18 years of age and remains completely responsible for their safety and actions at all times. You also accept full liability for the actions and safety of any spectators that accompany you.​​

Rules at Inspire Cross Country

You agree that you will walk the course on foot initially to familiarise yourself with the current ground conditions and to make yourself aware of any ditches, drains, or other obstacles and will do this at every visit, prior to using the course. You accept that you will ride the course and use the jumps entirely at your own risk and that your horse and companions on foot are your responsibility. 

Please note, the site has CCTV for safety and security.

 

We want everyone to have a great time, but please be aware that you are responsible for your own safety. We do not accept liability for any accidents, injury, illness, loss or damage to you, your horse, your vehicle, your companions or your belongings whatsoever or however caused.

  1. You must have your own appropriate personal and public liability insurance and be suitably skilled to jump fixed fences. Riders should have full control of their horse at all times and be appropriately skilled to ride safely across fixed cross country jumps and/or show jumps.

  2. All riders are required to wear a body protector and a riding hat (correctly fastened & with no fixed peak) conforming to the current British quality approved standard for riding hats. All riders are required to wear suitable footwear with defined heels.

  3. An adult with a working mobile phone must always be in attendance when the course is in use. All lone riders will carry a working mobile phone, in all other cases groups of 2 or more will carry at least one working mobile phone;

  4. a) no rider under 8 will be permitted to use the cross country course unless participating in an affiliated Pony Club event; b) riders under the age of 14 will not be permitted to use the cross country course unless accompanied by an adult; and c) no lone riders under 18 will be permitted to use the cross country course;

  5. Children should be closely supervised by an adult at all times

  6. Dogs should be kept on leads at ALL times and owners must clear up after their dogs and take it home with them.

  7. Please be considerate of other horses and riders. Only one horse per fence at a time. If riding in groups or pairs, horses should follow one behind the other and NOT jump 2 abreast.

  8. Only tackle fences that are within your and your horse’s capability.

  9. Riders are requested to report any damaged/broken jumps immediately. Please report any problems or damage to us immediately, so that we can keep the course safe and to its current high standard. You must cover the cost of repair or replacement should you or you horse cause any damage to any property whilst at Inspire Cross Country.

  10. Please ensure that the area around your transport is clean and tidy and remove all litter, hay and droppings. Please pick up any horse droppings and place in the muck box on site.

  11. Please bring all of your own equipment for your horse including that to pick up any droppings or hay and ensure you bring your own water for your horse and refreshments for yourself.

  12. There are no toilet facilities or water at the site.

  13. Please ensure that you use hand sanitiser before and after touching any gates.

  14. You must send a text message on arrival and when leaving the course to us on 07969 849987.

  15. All field gates must be closed whilst the cross country field is in use. Once you have left the cross country field please also ensure that all gates are closed.

  16. The site has CCTV for safety and security.

  17. There is a combination padlock on the entry gate - you will be informed of the access code prior to your arrival.

  18. All riders (parents/guardians of riders aged under 18) are required to accept the disclaimer T&Cs prior to riding the course stating that they have read and fully understand the course rules and agree to abide by them.

  19. If due to adverse weather conditions, we deem the course unsafe, you will not be allowed to ride the course and will be asked to leave.

  20. Cancellations can be made through the website. Please use either the link from your confirmation email, or go to ‘my bookings’ and cancel your booking. We will refund the booking fee less the bank charges. We require 48 hours notice for cancellation of your booking and if we receive your cancellation within 48 hours of your booking, you will not receive a refund.
