Conveniently located just off the A38 in Weare, Somerset, our cross-country course has been designed to inspire, educate and encourage both horse and rider. With ample parking and easy access, we ensure that every visit is enjoyable and hassle-free!
Exclusive Use for your 2 hour booking slot
We allow just one booking per time slot, so you won't find another group or individual on course when you arrive - whether you book for 1 horse or 4. We have done this with our clients in mind as they have told us this alleviates the worry
Ideal for novice or nervous combinations
Set in almost 7 acres, the course has 20 fences ranging from 1’6 to 2’9 (50-85cm), so it is ideal for young or nervous horses and riders. There’s something for every budding eventer wanting to give cross country a go.
Safe, secure and carefully planned
The course has been developed by a qualified instructor and the Pony Club have been involved in its creation, advising on all aspects to ensure that your safety is paramount.

If you're travelling from the A38:
Follow the Sat Nav postcode directions - BS26 2JS - from the A38 turning into Notting Hill Way.
Once the houses finish look out for a sign for ‘Hood Archery’ on the left. Use their entrance which is the left hand gate and park on the designated stone area just inside the gate.
If you’re travelling from the Wedmore direction:
Follow the postcode - BS26 2JS - on sat nav, having passed Weare First School on your left, look out for the sign for ‘Hood Archery’ on your right. Use their entrance which is the left hand gate and park on the designated stone area just inside the gate.
Feel free to use the grass area to turn on, as long as your vehicle is suitable!
